Nancy Cluff, Mom

Today is the 10th anniversary of the passing of my mom. It’s amazing to me that it’s been this long, it really feels like it was just a short time ago.
My mom was a great lady, she was really funny and clever, nice and kind, and a smart alec. I believe in a lot of personality ways that I’m a lot like her. In fact, I’m a lot like her in many ways…
  • She liked BYU sports
  • She drank and loved Diet Coke
  • She sang catchy made up songs
  • She enjoyed teasing people
  • She liked We Close Our Eyes by Oingo Boingo
  • She liked to go to the cabin
  • She loved tacos!
We did however, differ dramatically on the issue of lotion. Man did she love to have people put lotion on her back, and she used the stuff liberally everywhere! Sorry, I could never condone that.
Sadly I don’t have many pictures. Let this be a lesson make sure you always get in pictures, even if you don’t want to, because people love to see you.

Love this blog! Your mom sounds like an amazing woman. It's amazing how much I love her and your father, considering I've never met them. I can't wait to meet both of them!
